On Sunday we finally got to run our Hurunui Xmas Carfest event after having it washed out last year in a deluge of rain.
The difference between the two events could not have been more marked with a beautifully warm cloudless day to greet the 100 or so vehicles that attended this year’s carfest. Supporting stall holders offering a variety of wares from coffee to pedalcars supplemented the event and ensured that the families, and vehicle owners and friends, had a great day out.
We hope that those who took the time out to travel to our area will consider doing it again next year to continue what we hope will be a regular event.
The event ensures that our community will continue to be supported with donations and assistance into the future.
